Islam Before Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H)

The Islam we see today was not the same decades before. It has a vague infrastructure surrounded by Monotheists, Polytheists, and At.heists. The believers had a mixed deal of conflict and their faith foundation was shaky. Then after, Muhammad (P.B.U.H) was sent to earth and he made Muslims believe in the greatest religion.

What is Islam?

It is the Abrahamic oldest world religion and it survives on Monotheism (Belief on one God). It also believes that Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) is the last messenger of Allah and there’s no one to come after Him.

Origin of Islam

This youngest religion dates back to the 7th century in Saudi Arabia. For many centuries, it was ruled by Ancient Israelites and Ethnic Jews. Islam had various contradictions that resulted in the differences between Muslims and Jews. Even its divine revelations Hebrew Torah, the Psalms of David, and the Gospels of Jesus Christ was all stacked under multiple conspiracies.

Muhammad (P.B.U.H) Introduced Islam

The Qur’an (the final book contains Allah’s word) only made it certain that Islam arose from Muhammad in 610 A.D. He originated with the perfect words of Allah revealed into His heart and started to lead those who lacked religious faith.  Muslims was brought into a belief that all things of this universe are created by Allah and the purpose of human existence is to worship Allah.  The born-city of Muhammad “Makkah”, He gained hostility from Makkah polytheists.

Madinah Submitted to the Faith of Islam

As His followers migrated to Madinah in 622 A.D, this event was marked Hijra (Beginning of the Hijri calendar). Muhammad made continuous diligent efforts to unite tribes under Madinah and after 8 years of war, He succeeded in December 629.

Later, He managed to seize Madinah city with an army of 10,000 Muslim converts and marched in the city. In 632, He died after His Farewell Pilgrimage. Following His death, the most of Arabian Peninsula converted to Islam.

The revelation of Faith According to Prophet Muhammad

On Mount Hira, Muhammad (P.B.U.H) realized that he was called on by Allah to be the final prophet and to teach right religion to followers and non-followers. The new faith of submission also included legitimate aspects of Judaism and Christianity. It respected the other Holy books and all Prophets before Him – Abraham, Moses, and Jesus etc.

The five pillars of faith are a center of Islamic beliefs. Every Muslim must follow these:

  1. There is only one God, Allah
  2. Muslims must pray 5 times a day every day while facing Makkah.
  3. Pay a certain amount to help poor known as “Zakat”
  4. Fast the entire month of Ramadan and should refrain from all sins.
  5. If financially and physically sound than Muslims must make a Hajj pilgrimage to Makkah, once in a lifetime.

It is true that without having fear of life, Prophet (P.B.U.H.) fought a number of battles to preach and practice Allah’s command. Islam before Muhammad was based on rivals and other false conceptions.
