Masjid-e-Nabawi

Mount Uhud
Also known as Jabl-e-Uhud, it is where the Battle of Uhud took place. It is located at a distance of 5km to the north of Madinah. Masjid-al-Qiblatain
Masjid-al-Qiblatain is one of the best places to visit in Madinah for its unique history. It is the place where the first-ever congregational prayers took place. The construction of this mosque took place during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Another unique fact about this mosque is that it is the only mosque in the world to have two qiblas, hence coined the name “Qiblatain”. It was built at the time when the qibla was changed from Jerusalem to Makkah, making it have two qibla walls, one facing Jerusalem and the other facing Makkah. Muslims today visit the holy mosque and offer prayers.
The Garden of Hazrat Salman Farsi (RA)
Hazrat Salman Farsi was one of the most devoted companions of Prophet Muhamad (PBUH). He traveled from Iran searching for divine truth and accepted Islam when he met Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). However, he was a slave of a Jew at that time. He pleaded with his master to set him. Very reluctantly he agreed to free him on two conditions. Firstly, Hazrat Salman Farsi would give him forty ounces of gold. Secondly, he would grow a date garden. The conditions seemed difficult to fulfill. In despair, Hazrat Salman Farsi (RA) went to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) handed him a gold stone weighing 40 ounces which he handed over to his master. Then Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asked Hazrat Salman Farsi (RA) to prepare the field to grow date trees. He did as he was instructed. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) sown the date seeds. Within a year, the date trees started to fruit at a miraculous pace. Eventually, Hazrat Salman (RA) became free.

Khyber Fort
Located 175km away from Madinah, this historical landmark reminiscences the bravery and courage of the Muslims. It was the strongest fort of the Jews where they sought protection. For many days, Muslims surrounded the fort and tried to conquer it, but in vain. Then Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) commanded Hazrat Ali (RA) to take the lead. He killed three Jewish army leaders, eventually making the Muslims successful. Tourists and pilgrims visit this fort to commemorate the brave companions who fought relentlessly.
